Crabapple Farm is family owned and run by Tevis and Rachel Robertson-Goldberg, and Sally and Bill Stites-Robertson, in Chesterfield, Ma. They are adamant about combining the best aspects of Organic, Biodynamic, Permaculture, and traditional farming principles in their farming practices to ensure the principles of ecological stewardship and sustainability, and growing healthy local food from the ground up. They produce a balanced mix of a variety of products; vegetables, fruits, and grains, as well as raise their own livestock. They also offer a wide range of workshops focusing on skill-based methods opposed to technological fixes. Crabapple farm believes that the best way to assure a healthy food supply is through having a close and personal connection with your food, farm, and farmers, and their overall goal as farmers is to grow food not commodities.
