Students from Northampton High School gave their feedback on house-made tomato vegetable soup at a first-ever taste test in the cafeteria this December. About 100 students tried the recipe. While not all of them liked it, some just appreciated being asked. As one student said: “I don’t want any, but I’m happy you asked me”. An important goal of this work is to have student choice and voice lead decision-making, and taste tests are a great way to do that. More will be planned for JFK and NHS during the Spring.
