This new, seasonal, and temporary position will report to the Associate Director. The Food Access Coordinator will support our Community Food Distribution Project and other initiatives that provide access to healthy food to community members experiencing food insecurity. The current manager of this program will be taking leave in early Fall, at which time the Coordinator will assume responsibility for this programming through the end of the season in early November.

Grow Food Northampton seeks a Market Assistant to staff Tuesday Market along with the Market Manager during farmers’ market hours. The Market Assistant needs to have great people skills including good boundaries and clear communication, an attention to detail with numbers and data, and, ideally, a love for throwing a party (i.e. a farmers’ market) every week and meeting new people. It’s a plus to know Tuesday Market as a shopper or vendor employee.
