The Farm Education Collaborative offers pre-school, after school, homeschool and parent-child programs at Crimson & Clover Farm.
Grow Food Northampton offers limited scholarships for low-income youth and families.
Register online with TFEC. 

Here’s what we offered in Fall 2012.

Children’s Programs

Pre-School Mornings on the Farm

Ages 3-6
Mondays, 9-11 am
$60-90, sliding scale (for 6 weeks)

Join us for a morning of fun and learning together on the farm.  We will prepare and eat snack using freshly gathered ingredients from the fields and gardens, visit with the animals, create farm-inspired art, and then join in a circle of story and song.

After School Farm Club

Ages 6-10
Mondays, 3:30 – 5 pm
$50-75, sliding scale (for 6 weeks)

Get outside and join us after school for some fall farm fun.  We’ll explore farm and field while assisting the Crimson & Clover farmers with bringing in the harvest, hands-on projects, farm animal chores, cooking, and more.  Each week will include preparing and enjoying a tasty, farm snack together.

After School Young Farmers

Ages 10-14
Wednesdays, 3:30 – 5 pm
$50-75, sliding scale (for 6 weeks)

Get outside and join us after school for some fall farm fun.  We’ll explore farm and field while assisting the Crimson & Clover farmers with bringing in the harvest, hands-on projects, farm animal chores, cooking, and more.  Each week will include preparing and enjoying a tasty, farm snack together.

Homeschool Planters Program

Ages 6-10
Fridays, 10 – 12 pm
$60-90, sliding scale (for 6 weeks)

Activities will include preparing delicious snacks with garden fresh produce, helping with planting and harvesting in the garden, farm animal activities, and more.  Join us as we integrate curriculum through hands-on farm activities, games, art, songs, and group work.

Parent-Child Programs

Little Growers Morning Program

Ages 0-5
Wednesdays, 10-11:30 am
$50-75, sliding scale (6 weeks)
